Thank you all!

For the past couple of months, I have mostly been sharing my blog with close friends and family. This week, I decided to share it on Facebook. I was really nervous about doing this for several reasons. The main one being that I was afraid people would read my blog and think I was really weird for putting so much personal information out there, especially something like this. I really wanted to share mine and Lee's story, though, because reading or hearing about other people's stories really helped me. Creating this blog has been a great outlet, and I'm having a lot of fun learning about what goes into creating a website, especially since I have zero experience with web design. It is fun to blog about food and travel, because those are two of my favorite things, and a blog is an easy way to keep everyone updated on our baby making progress.

Once I posted my blog on Facebook, I received so many encouraging texts, blog comments, and Facebook comments and messages. This means the world to me. For each and every person who has prayed for Lee and I: thank you! We appreciate each and every prayer and know that God is hearing them.

In addition to all of the encouragement, I also received 8 messages/comments from women who are either experiencing infertility currently, have overcome infertility, or have a friend or family member who has gone through this & all shared with me their stories. This is AMAZING and exactly the reason I wanted to start a blog! Infertility can sometimes feel lonely, scary, and defeating. It doesn't have to though! Of course I would never ever wish this on anyone, but knowing that someone has once felt the same thing that I'm feeling, or has been successful with this type of treatment is really comforting and encouraging. To the ladies who shared stories with me: thank you! Your words really do matter to me, and I'm so thankful for your love and care.

I will keep blogging my favorite recipes and stories about our travels, and once we have new news, I'll be sure to keep you all posted on our baby progress. Thanks for reading, and thanks for all of your positive, encouraging words.
